2. Toulouse is a city in southwest France on the banks of the Garonne River, half-way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Toulouse has a population of 1,117,000 inhabitants in 2007.

Toulouse is the fourth largest city in France, after Paris, Marseille and Lyon.

3. The Toulouse metropolitan area is the fifth-largest in France and the fastest growing in Europe.  This means many economical opportunities after moving there.

If you are moving to Toulouse and need a job, you might want to consider the aerospace industry, of which Toulouse is one of Europe’s centers.

Moving to Toulon, France

Toulon is a city in southern France and a large military harbour on the Mediterranean coast, with a major French naval base.

 Located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur région, Toulon is the préfecture of the Var département, in the former province of Provence. 

The population of the city (commune) at the 2004 estimate was 168,639 inhabitants.

 The population of the whole metropolitan area at the 2007 estimate was 608,189 inhabitants. After moving to Toulon you can find work in one of the industries there: naval construction, fishing, wine making, and the manufacture of aeronautical equipment, armaments, maps, paper, tobacco, printing, shoes, and electronic equipment.

The place has 702,412 inhabitants in the metropolitan area.

 Located close to the border with Germany, it is the préfecture (capital) of the Bas-Rhin département. 

Strasbourg is the seat of several European institutions such as the Council of Europe with its European Court of Human Rights, its European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and its European Audiovisual Observatory, the Eurocorps as well as the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union.

Local industries include car manufacturing and telecommunications. Citroën, currently the largest employer of the population of Rennes, opened a manufacturing plant at Rennes La Janais in 1961. Thomson employs over 1,000.

Rennes invests heavily in arts and culture and a number of its festivals (such as the music festival Les Transmusicales, les Tombées de la Nuit and Travelling (a cinematic festival)) are well known throughout France.

In Rennes is the only Institut Franco-Américain in France.

Moving to Reims, France

Reims is a city of the Champagne-Ardenne r?gion of northern France,

The location of Reims is 144 km (89 miles) east-northeast of Paris.

Know that you are moving to a place founded during the period of the Roman Empire.

Reims played a very important role in French history, as it was the place where the kings of France were crowned. The most famous and cherished of these events was the coronation of Charles VII in the company of Joan of Arc.

Thus, the Cathedral of Reims (damaged by the Germans during the First World War but restored since) played the same role in France as Westminster Abbey did in England.
